Loading a FEN starts a new line. FEN does not contain earlier moves.
One game, main line only. Comments, annotations and variations are omitted. Export always includes the full line, even when viewing an earlier move. Files stay on your device.
Unlock to move either colour freely, add pieces or remove them. Editing uses a copy of the displayed position.
Castling and en passant are explicit: correct them when moving a king, rook or pawn. Side to move stays fixed while editing. Valid positions analyse automatically; incomplete ones pause analysis.
Drag a piece onto a highlighted destination, or select the piece and then its destination. Drop outside the board to cancel a drag. Left/Right browses one ply at a time. With board focus, Shift+Arrow moves between squares; Enter or Space selects a piece or destination. Escape clears selection.
Positive evaluations favour White. The gold arrow shows the current best move. Flip changes the view only. FEN / PGN opens import and export tools, including Import image for local screenshot recognition and review.
Unlock board opens a position editor. Cancel restores your game; Use position starts a new line only after confirmation. History is disabled while editing.
